FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions you may have about hypnosis:

What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis is most like daydreaming, somewhere between being awake and being asleep. Some clients report a feeling of deep relaxation, while some clients report a feeling of excitement and wonder. Trance is a natural state that we experience every day while watching a movie, reading a good book, or even driving!

Will you ‘control my mind’ during the session?

No, I will not! Actually, I will be teaching you how to gain control of your own thoughts, feelings, emotions, and reactions so you can achieve your hypnosis goals.

Will I remember what happened?

Although it is possible to have no memory of hypnosis experience, it is not necessary for a therapeutic setting (as opposed to a stage show). You will be aware of what is happening during the session and you will remember what happened as much as you remember any other conversation you have in your daily life.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

You will not get stuck in hypnosis! Every session ends with an awakening process, but even if I left the room you would naturally awaken on your own after a few minutes, or you might drift to sleep and wake up after a short nap.

How long is a session? How many do I need?

Sessions typically run 60-90 minutes. Every person is different in how many sessions they need, but I recommend everyone start with 3 sessions.

How much does it cost?

Initial Session: $150
Subsequent sessions: $125 (discounts available for multiple prepaid sessions)
